FCMEA All County Music Festival
The Fulton County Music Educators Association held their annual All-County Music Festival last weekend, January 31st and February 1st, at the Gloversville Middle School. Seventy-two students from the GJSD Music program participated in the festival representing the Elementary Chorus, Junior High Band, Senior High Chorus, and Senior High Jazz Ensemble.
The students spent weeks working with their GJSD Music teachers in preparation for the honor of rehearsing and performing under the direction of four outstanding guest conductors. After approximately eight hours of rehearsals, the festival culminated in a standing-room only concert on Saturday afternoon.
