Is That a Real Horse?

“Is that a real horse?” was the question heard from students when Rowdy, the Percheron draft horse, and Shadow, the Shetland pony, visited Glebe Street School on March 6 as part of the “Horses!” Enrichment class.

During the enrichment sessions, students learned about safety around horses, how horses see with monocular and binocular vision, nutrition, breeds, how to measure the height of horses using a measuring stick, the proper use of grooming tools, and anatomy.

Students in other Enrichment groups at Glebe Street enjoyed activities from programming Ozobots, to making crafts, to completing puzzles.
