Warren Street Elementary Foul Shooting Contest

Congratulations to the participants and winners of the annual Johnstown Elementary Foul-Shooting Contest held at Warren Street earlier this month.
The contest was held as part of Mrs. Cromer and Mr. Haley’s basketball unit in P.E. classes, in which students learn the fundamentals of the game, and participate in the foul-shooting contest with their classmates. Top finishers from each class moved on to the district-wide contest.
This year, 52 students competed in the district-wide contest. Winners included:
- Third Grade: Nadya Centi and Carter Wille
- Fourth Grade: Ezaria West and Levi Sweet
- Fifth Grade: Jacki LaRue and Luca Centi
- Sixth Grade: McKenna Ward and Cooper Steiger
To make the event even more special, JHS basketball players and student-athletes volunteered at the event, including Bella Bermas, Matt Wheelis, Skyler Lundquist, PJ Yetto, Braden Jones, Elijah Jones, Antonio DeMarco, Marcus Wilson, Andrew Lake, Soli Lopez, Gabby Martinez and Maddox Pedrick.
