Access to the Greater Johnstown School District’s computer resources, networks and electronically stored information is a privilege granted contingent upon prudent and responsible use of the same.

The Greater Johnstown School District’s computer resources/internet should be used to explore educational topics, conduct research and contact others in the educational world. District computer resources cannot be used for personal business.

Staff activities on District computer resources are subject to audit and inspection by the district’s systems personnel. Staff members have no expectation of privacy with regard to e-mail, saved files, logs or any computer-generated or stored material.

Misuse of computing, networking and information resources, and/or failure to abide by applicable law or District policy may result in severe consequences, including loss of access to computing resources, disciplinary action, and/or legal action.
