Aquatics / Pool
Beginning November 2, 2016, the pool is open to the community for swimming on Wednesday evenings from 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9 – 11 a.m., when school is in session. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Johnstown residents approved the construction of an indoor pool at Johnstown High School in March, 1975 and an official Dedication Ceremony took place on April 30, 1977. The facility is used for physical education aquatics classes, the Fo-Jo (Fonda-Johnstown) swim team and Johnstown’s summer recreation program. Check back here for information regarding upcoming events at the pool, including Family Fun Nights and Community Swim!
