NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, as part of the July 11 board meeting, the Board of Education of the Greater Johnstown School District, Fulton County, Johnstown, New York, will hold a public hearing on transfer of amounts from the Reserve for Retirement Contributions (ERS) to the General Fund for the purpose of paying expenses associated with retirement contributions on behalf of District employees in the 2026-27 school year.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, as part of the July 11 board meeting, the Board of Education of the Greater Johnstown School District, Fulton County, Johnstown, New York, will hold a public hearing the District-wide Safety Plan for the 2026-2027 school year. Purusant to Education Law, members of the public may submit written comments on the 2025-26 District-wide Safety Plan to District Administration for 30 days after this Public Hearing. Following the conclusion of the 30 day comment period (July 12, 2026), the Board of Education will vote on adoption of the updated Safety Plan at its August 2026 business meeting.
