Second Grade Supply List 2023-2024
Dear Parents and Second Grade Students,
Welcome to second grade! We look forward to a great year together. This is a quick note to let you know what supplies you will need to begin our year in September.
All students are responsible for having:
- (2) 24 count package of Ticonderoga pencils, sharpened please
- (1) large zippered cloth pencil pouch
- (2) plastic 2-pocket folders (1 blue and 1 green plastic with prongs please)
- (1) four pack of Expo low odor dry erase markers (black only please)
- (2) 24 count Crayola crayons
- (1) box of 12 count colored pencils (no larger please)
- (4) Elmer’s glue sticks
- (2) Pink Pearl block erasers
- (1) box of cap erasers
- (1) watercolor paint set
- (1) pair child scissors (Please label name on handle.)
- (1) pair of headphones (NO earbuds please. We have tried earbuds, but they just don’t work well at this level. Thank you for your understanding.)
- (2) box of tissues, without lotion, please
- (1) old shirt to be used as an art smock (Please label the tag with your child’s name.)
If your child has supplies from previous years, such as scissors, feel free to use them again. Please remember to label all supplies with your child’s name. Thank you for your support. We look forward to a wonderful year.
