The Greater Johnstown School District Board of Education has scheduled the following meetings for the month of December:
December 10: Audit, Budget & Finance Committee Meeting, 6:00 p.m., District Office. The December Audit Budget & Finance committee meeting is postponed to January 7 at 7:00 p.m.- December 10: Special Meeting – Executive Session/Closed Session Anticipated, 6:00 p.m., District Office
- December 18: Board Business Meeting with Budget Discussion and a Public Hearing on the Amended 2025-26 School Safety Plan, 6:00 p.m., Johnstown High School LGIS (Large Group Instructional Space).
- Members of the public may submit written comments on the amended 2025-26 District-wide School Safety Plan to District Administration by email to communications@johnstownschools.org, or by postal mail to GJSD Administrative Office, 1 Sir Bills Circle, Suite 101, Johnstown, NY 12095, for 30 days following the Public Hearing. At its January 2026 business meeting, the Board of Education will consider a resolution to adopt the amended 2025-26 District-wide School Safety Plan.
Staff, students and community members are welcome to attend board and committee meetings in accordance with NYS Open Meetings Law. The monthly business meeting will be livestreamed via the District’s YouTube channel. Board meeting agendas are released via the BoardDocs website at least 24 hours in advance of a meeting.
