Role of the Middle School Counselor

Jacqueline Miller is the school counselor at Knox Middle School. It is important that students remember that the school counselor is here to help. Whether you are having problems with another student, or just need to talk, feel free to stop by and see your school counselor.

In order to help ensure student success, the school counselor works closely with the teachers as well as the principal, other school personnel and community counseling resources. Communication from parents is welcomed and encouraged. If you have questions or concerns regarding your child, please call the school counseling office or e-mail the school counselor.

Role of the Middle School Social Worker

Karyn Watson is the school social worker at Knox Middle School. She provides individual and group counseling, behavioral support, and crisis intervention. The primary responsibilities of a school social worker involve helping students and their families break down barriers that may get in the way of learning. School social workers are an integral link between school, home, and the community.

Role of the Middle School Psychologist

Caitlin Murphy is the school psychologist at Knox Middle School.
