On Sunday, September 10th, Johnstown Field Hockey’s Youth Program hosted the first of four youth field hockey play days at Knox Field. The youth program is in it’s sixth year and is designed for students in grades 3-6.
Twelve schools from Section 2 brought a total of 31 teams comprised of 230 players to participate in the round robin tournament. Participating schools were Johnstown, Gloversville, Saratoga, Shenenedehowa, Bethlehem, Columbia, Scotia, South Glens Falls, Glens Falls, Hoosick Falls, Guilderland, and Burnt Hills.
Johnstown’s youth program will play again Sunday, September 17th, at Shenendehowa, September 24th at Burnt Hills, and will conclude it’s season on September 30th at South Glens Falls.
