I cannot believe we are in March already, it is going to be a busy time for us as a building. We have a lot of opportunities and changes coming to our building during this month.
The Puppet People will be performing “The Wizard of Oz” via Zoom on Wednesday, March 10th at 2:00 p.m. All Students in grades 3-6 are encouraged to attend. Thank you to Stewart’s Shops for donating the proceeds to make this assembly possible.
We are participating in the Ronald McDonald House Charity fundraiser throughout the month of March. A calendar with family reading activities was sent home last week and we are encouraging all students to participate. Reading for the Ronald McDonald House will be our monthly literacy initiative for March.

GJSD Seeks Candidates for Board of Education
Are you interested in serving on the Greater Johnstown School District Board of Education? On May 18, 2021, GJSD voters will have the opportunity to elect three individuals to serve three-year terms on the district’s Board of Education. In order to appear on that ballot, candidates must file a nominating petition with the School District Clerk, signed by 100 qualified district voters.
Nominating Petitions may be picked up at the administration offices in the Knox Building during business hours, or may be requested by contacting the District Clerk by telephone (518-762-4611, ext. 3119) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Completed petitions must be received by the School District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on April 28, 2021.
