“BOARD GAME BONANZA”
Team Competitions
Classes compete each month for the highest number of points in their grade level. The top two classes get to participate in a human/life size board game during our monthly assembly. In conjunction, we also have an oversized Warren-opoly game going on in the library where classes can advance around the board accumulating properties and winning prizes.
Individual Rewards
Each month the top reader in each class is recognized at our assembly. A few names are drawn from those readers and board games and books are awarded. ALL STUDENTS who earn at least 45 AR points by the end of May will be invited to participate in an end of the year Board Game Bonanza Bash! Your child will NOT want to miss this HUGE event held outside in June. Last year’s event featured our very own “Double Dare” event that students raced through. It involved two giant inflatables, water, slime, sports, obstacles, puzzles, and a whole lot of fun! This year may even top that!
