Principal’s Corner

Dear Families,

As you know, we are facing another difficult budget year.  Please be informed and give your input!  Join us on Monday, March 4th at 6:45 in the lecture hall at the High School for a summary about our financial situation and an opportunity to give your input.

We are so excited and proud of our Odyssey of the Mind teams who have been working hard on their problems for competition since October.  This year we have 15 teams with students from Glebe Street, Warren Street, and Knox Junior High.  Students are eager and ready to show their creativity at work!  A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Meashaw, Mrs. Swartwout and all the volunteer coaches and judges who help make this program happen.   The community is welcome to attend the free Regional Competition on March 9th at Fonda-Fultonville Central School. Families can come for a few hours or spend the entire day (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) watching teams perform their skits.

March is literacy month!  We will be continuing with our Double Dare AR Challenges, looking forward to an author visit, and working on our own poetry to present at a Poetry Café  Night on the 26th of this month!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child(ren), please do not hesitate to contact me.

Mrs. Nikki Lent, Principal
