A Little STEAM on a Cold Night
On January 31, over 75 Pleasant Avenue students and family members attended STEAM for a night full of family engagement. Originally planned for January 24, the event was delayed for a week by snowy weather conditions, followed by the polar vortex. But the cold temperatures didn’t dampen our students’ spirits – they arrived on the new night fired up to tackle activities designed to encourage a love for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
