Star Spangled Fireworks New Date – July 21

Due to the weekend weather forecast, the Star Spangled Fireworks scheduled for the evening of Saturday, June 23, has been postponed. The new date is July 21.

  • Free entrance, entertainment and a fireworks production you won’t want to miss!
  • Festivities begin with the band FLAME performing from 7-9 PM.
  • At 9:10 PM the JHS Barbershop Harmony Vocalists will be singing The National Anthem, accompanied by the Army National Guard.
  • Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:30 PM. This 20-minute fireworks production will be choreographed to patriotic and current songs.
  • Aside from all of the food vendors that will be along Perry Street, the Johnstown Purple & Gold Athletic Club and the Post-Prom Committee will be setting up separate concessions within the gates of Knox Field.
  • Raffle Tickets will be sold throughout the evening for chances to win prizes from many of our local businesses. Raffle drawings will be just before the fireworks begin. Free glow necklaces to all children/teens!
  • Looking to perform community service? All Clubs, sports teams or any individual, are welcome to help with the cleanup of the Knox Field grounds and surrounding streets on Sunday morning starting at 9 AM.
