Sixth Graders Help Little Buddies at Parade

Under a bright fall sky, Pleasant Avenue’s pre-k, kindergarten and first grade students set off across the blacktop for their annual Halloween Parade on October 31. While they were under the watchful eyes of their teachers, their Warren Street sixth grade buddies were also on hand to help them to stay on track.

Keeping Johnstown’s Buddy Walk tradition alive, 56 Warren Street students helped guide their little buddies along the parade route.  Many thanks to the sixth graders who volunteered to walk over to Pleasant Avenue and buddy-up with the younger students! It was a perfect afternoon – perfect weather, perfect parade, and a perfectly good time for everybody. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
