Sharing Progress & Goals During Data Day

Over 65 kindergarten family members attended Data Day this morning. They first met with Principal Gabree-Huba, who spoke about the importance of goal setting for students, as well as literacy skills that students are working to develop in order to grow into strong readers. Students then joined their families and shared their progress so far this school year and their learning goals for the remainder of the year. Students who did not have family in attendance were able to articulate their goals to teachers in their classrooms and will bring home their portfolios to share with their family. First graders will have the same opportunity tomorrow.
