Reading & Responsibility with Ross
The students in Mrs. Paul’s classroom have been making portfolios with Ross the therapy dog this year. They have learned about the responsibility of owning a pet and proper pet care. The students have also read stories to Ross. Being able to read to a therapy dog has taken some of the “fear” out of reading for the students.
Ross comes in once a month with his handler, BobbiJo Haverly. This has been a wonderful experience for the students and they look forward to his visit.
