The Puppet People on Stage at Pleasant

Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Cowardly Lion followed the yellow brick road to Pleasant Avenue on Friday, November 17, with an inspiring performance of “The Wizard of Oz” by The Puppet People.

Master puppeteers Mark Carrigan and Michelle Smith-Carrigan were responsible for all aspects of the show, including carefully handcrafting the puppets and sets themselves and narrating the story using different voices.

The lively performance even included a cyclone that spun among the students, making them screech!
