Mrs. Rusnica’s Life Studies students constructed 50 dresses for little girls in Africa during their Sewing Skills Unit during May and June. All Knox eighth graders take part in a Community Service Project during their Life Studies experience.
These dresses will be sent with mission groups, or mailed directly, and distributed to young girls in Malawi, Africa. The road is especially tough for little girls and young women. Often small children are left as primary caregivers of younger children because of the death of their parents from disease and poverty. These little dresses, given freely to those in need, plant the seed that they are worthy. If you would like to learn more, please click HERE.
