Keller’s Heart
During their recent monthly Morning Program, Glebe students watched a short video and listened to the story “Keller’s Heart,” written by local news anchor John Gray.
Principal North talked about differences and disabilities and accepting others the way they are. The message is simple: don’t treat others differently just because they act, look, or learn differently from us. Students each wrote their name on a heart pledging to do so. The hearts hang on a bulletin board in our cafeteria as a reminder of our pledge.
