The Key Club at Johnstown High School hosted a Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, November 1, and the students did a terrific job recruiting donors, exceeding their projected collection goal.
Approximately one in every seven people entering the hospital needs blood. Each pint of blood donated can potentially help save three lives. With 53 pints of blood collected at the JHS Blood Drive (47 whole blood and six power red cell donations), 159 patients have been helped! Thank you to everyone who came out to donate – their “gifts of life” are greatly appreciated!
