Glebe Street Creates Super Heroes

Students in Mrs. Fisk’s third grade art class are working on creating superhero images that model the work of American Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.

Lichtenstein’s most renowned work features bold colors and words like POW, BANG and KABOOM! He liked to recreate large scale comic book images with large Ben-Day dots that represented the overlapping process to create color in comics.
