Glebe Celebrates Flag Day
Glebe Street held its inaugural Flag Day assembly on Thursday, June 14, with many students and staff dressed in red, white & blue. After reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, the event included the singing of patriotic songs, including “America the Beautiful” by Katherine Lee Bates, “America (My Country Tis of Thee)” by Samuel Francis Smith, “Proud to be an American” by Lee Greenwood, and “Put Your Hand On Your Heart” by Theresa Jennings and John Riggi.
