Discovering Rainforest Animals
Students at Pleasant Avenue enjoyed a unique opportunity to meet and learn about several fascinating rainforest animals this week.
On November 13, a representative of The Bureau of Lectures & Mutual Omaha traveled to Pleasant Avenue from Kansas, accompanied by live animal ambassadors from around the world. Students had a chance to get up close and personal with these special creatures, while learning about their survival, natural history, geography, natural behaviors and wildlife conservation.
