Buddy Benches Donated by Faville Fund
Local non-profit organization The Cubby Faville Memorial Fund generously donated seven “Buddy Benches” to be installed at school buildings in our district.
Cubby Faville was a Foundations of Food teacher at HFM Boces and the fund’s primary objective is to promote education and sports among youth. The purpose of a “Buddy Bench” is to eliminate loneliness and foster friendship on the playground; a child can sit there when they want someone to talk to and other children will see him or her and invite them to join in.
