Buddy Bench Donated to Pleasant Ave.
The students and staff at Pleasant Avenue School would like to thank the Cubby Faville Memorial Fund for donating a Buddy Bench to our school.
Students will be learning how to use the Buddy Bench in school during the month of September, then it will be moved outside near the playground.
A child who is feeling lonely or excluded will be able to go and sit on the Buddy Bench and other students on the playground who see him or her will ask the child’s name and find out if he or she wants to play.
