Bridge Arts Ensemble in Residence
The NYC-Based Bridge Arts Ensemble began it’s Johnstown residency this week at Warren Street School. They performed for all classes in two assemblies and led workshops on “Poetry and Music,” as well as “Space and Music” for smaller groups. Finally, the artists led a workshop for the Fifth and Sixth Grade Choruses to teach the skills they use to communicate with one another in rehearsal and in performance.
Tomorrow these talented artists will be at Glebe Street School for a concert and workshop. Thursday they will be at Johnstown High School. Next week another set of artists will perform with students at Knox Junior High and Pleasant Avenue Elementary.
