Board of Education Nominating Petitions Available
Voters in the Greater Johnstown School District will elect two board of education members this year to serve three year terms that begin on July 1, 2023.
Prospective candidates may request nominating petitions by contacting the District Clerk by telephone at 518-762-4611 ext. 3119, or email to lcarpenter@johnstownschools.org.
Nominating petitions must be signed by at least 100 qualified district voters and must be received in the District Clerk’s Office on or before 5:00 p.m. on April 26, 2023. The election will be held May 16, 2023.
Board members must reside in the district for at least one year before the election, must be at least 18 years of age, and may not be current district employees.
