Barn Quilt Enrichment Club Fun

What is a barn quilt square? Second graders in the Barn Quilt Enrichment Club at Glebe Street can tell you it is a large piece of wood that is painted to look like a quilt block. Someone traveling through Fulton or Montgomery counties may see one hanging on a building or barn.

A group of  second graders interested in creating their own barn quilt squares met after school on November 16 to start learning the craft, and will meet again on November 30 and December 7 to complete their projects. Stay tuned for samples of the finished products! Many thanks to our volunteers for making this opportunity possible!
