AP English Students Guide Seventh Graders
Eight JHS seniors studying Advanced Placement English came to Knox on Friday, February 8th, to work with Mrs. Bruno’s seventh grade social studies classes.
Stations with short readings based on early United States history were visited by the students. The seniors read the passage then helped the seventh graders to compose their answers. ELA skills, such as use of transition words, plus creating a thesis statement, were emphasized.
Mrs. Bruno expressed pride in how well the seniors, all former Knox students, conducted themselves while helping their younger counterparts. She said “It was a good day for all of us!”.
