Music Practice Links for Students
Johnstown elementary music students in kindergarten through sixth grade are working hard learning musical notation. Kindergarten through second grade are learning and reviewing basic rhythmic and melodic notation. Third and fourth grade are reviewing notation to prepare to play recorder this year in class. Fifth and sixth grade are reviewing and learning more complex notation to participate in music ensembles like band and chorus.
