Absentee Ballots Available for May 18 Vote

On Tuesday, May 18, polls will be open for in-person voting from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Johnstown Junior-Senior High School. Unlike last year, when the Governor issued Executive Orders due to COVID-19, absentee ballots will not be automatically mailed to voters, but must be requested by application. (Note: Ballots will be automatically mailed to voters whose registration with the County Board of Elections is marked “Permanently Disabled”, without the necessity of an application).

To apply for an absentee ballot, please print and fill out this absentee ballot application. Bring the completed application to the District Clerk’s Office, or mail it to the following address (applications may not be submitted by email):

District Clerk
Knox Building, 400 South Perry Street
Johnstown, NY 12095
