A District-wide Safety Plan has been developed as a requirement of New York State Project SAVE legislation. It serves as a framework and focuses on crisis intervention, emergency response and management.
New York State Education Department regulations call for the plan to be adopted by the Board of Education. The District is required to make the plan available for public comment and to hold at least one public hearing prior to adoption. That public hearing took place prior to a special meeting of the Board of Education on September 29, 2020. The 2020-2021 District-wide Safety Plan can be viewed at this link.
