Dear Warren Street Families,

With the month of May upon us, Spring is officially here! The sun is out, days are warmer, and our Spring sports and programs are in full swing. During this time of year, there are a few things that take place in our school and reminders that must be given. With students riding bikes, playing outside, and going on school trips, safety for everyone is our number one priority. If your child is riding a bike to school, please be sure that he/she has a helmet on at all times. If you are unable to afford a helmet, please contact the school and we will make every attempt to get a helmet for your child. While at school, students must also wear appropriate and safe clothing in order to participate in school events and activities. Sneakers must always be worn so that students are able to participate in physical education class and at recess. It is also very important to keep a careful eye on notices coming home with students. Permission slips, notices, and requests for volunteers from the PTA will be coming soon to help make events such as the Track Meet, Field Day, and community trips a huge success. As always, thank you for all that you do for the children at Warren Street, and for helping to make it a successful year!
