Search a collection of over 150 full-text national and international newspapers, including 7 New York State newspapers and the New York Times, which is indexed in full text for the full current year.

CQ Researcher (CQ Researcher Username & Password required)
Excellent resource that compliments the Issues & Controversies database.
Independent & comprehensive reports on current issues with a database that goes back to 1991. The CQ Researcher covers a wide range of social, economic, political, and environmental issues. Each report is divided into specific sections to guide research. Sections include Abstract, Overview, Background, Outlook, Chronology, Next Step, and others.

Provides in-depth information on a variety of topics relating to animals. The database consists of indexing, abstracts, and full text records describing the nature and habitat of familiar animals.

Gale Virtual Reference Library (Gale ID & Password required)
Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries (your school, your public library, or your office).

General Science Collection (EBSCO ID & Password required)
This database offers full text coverage for more than 60 of the most popular science publications. Providing information on all aspects of the scientific world, the General Science Collection offers full text information dating back as far as 1992.
Some publications included are Archaeology, Astronomy, Discover, National Wildlife, New Scientist, Popular Science, Science News, Scientific American, and many others. Subject areas covered include the observation, description, identification, and experimental investigation of phenomena and the application of science to industrial or commercial objectives.
