News from the
Yearbook Staff - February 2010
The yearbook is
well under production and is looking to be one of the best
we've produced. This is JHS' first time producing a
yearbook totally online and the students have been going
all out in their creativity. A 16-page supplement is
included in the price, so students will not have to wait
until next year to see what happened in the spring.
Yearbooks are still on sale for
$50. We have sold half of our order so far, so students
should plan on pre-ordering their book now. If you wait until
after the arrival of the book in late May, you many not
get one and the price will go up to $60. The date to have
personalization on the book has passed.
Updated order forms are available here and in the
guidance office.
Also, we are still accepting donations for our Patron
Page. For $5, you will have your name printed in the
yearbook on the Patron Page and become a part of this
historic book. To be included, print out this
Patron form and return it to Mrs. Smith in the
guidance office ASAP. Don't delay - the page is filling
fast and we are hoping to add another!
JHS Baronet Yearbook - Fall 2009 |
The 2009-10 yearbook staff consists of 25 students led
by the following officers: Co-Editors Emily Bearden and
Kaylyn Akey (seniors); Copy/Photo Editor Kelly Brown
(senior); Ad/Sales Editor Julie Smicinski (sophomore);
Secretary Jessica Victors (senior); and Treasurer Michael
Gifford (senior). Together with yearbook advisors Mr.
D'Amore and Mrs. Smith, they have received training from
Jostens' representative Scott Hicks so that, for the first
time, the yearbook can be created totally online.
Eager to publish a great yearbook, but unable to have
photographers everywhere all of the time, the Baronet
staff invites students and parents to submit photos of
school and community events online to be considered for
inclusion.
Click here to learn how to submit photos online.
All students were given a
yearbook order form during the week of October 13. Additionally, an
information packet for seniors was distributed, with
instructions and forms for submitting senior quotes and
placing senior parent ads. The deadline for
parents/families to submit and pay for messages for
graduates is January 15. The deadline for submitting
senior pictures is December 1.
Pre-sale of yearbooks will begin October 19 during
lunch. The price is $50, with the option for add-ons at an
additional cost. Two of the more popular options available
include imprinting a name and icon on the cover. The
deadline for personalization is January 15.
