Two new science rooms would provide additional
classroom and hands-on learning space to meet the
needs of a growing number of students who are
required by the state to take additional science
classes.

Two new special education rooms would allow more
high-needs students to be educated within the
district.

new 880-seat, 11,200 sq. ft. auditorium, stage,
lobby and corridor would provide modern lighting,
sound and space for school and community events.

The existing auditorium and stage would be renovated
into a large group instruction room and storage
facility.

Corridors would be renovated to meet fire codes,
including removing glass above lockers and replacing
it with fire-rated walls.

Existing single-pane windows would be replaced with
thermal-panes to make them more energy-efficient.

Original boilers dating back to 1963 would be
replaced to improve heating and reduce energy costs.

Air cooler condensing units, originally installed in
1975, would be replaced, while the existing coils
would be cleaned and its casings refurbished.

A
new aluminized roof coating would be installed to
provide a protective seal against ultraviolet light
damage.

The parking lot surface would be patched and
resealed.

converted to hot water, and valves and pipes would
be replaced to improve heat regulation from room to
room.

new, more efficient fire-tube boilers.

The 15-year-old foam roof would be resurfaced.

Building ornamentation and masonry around the roof
of the building would be reconstructed to correct
deterioration caused by weather.

A
new 5,000-gallon fuel tank, with dual-burner
capacities would be installed.

The track and tennis courts would be resurfaced.

The athletic field at Knox would be reconstructed
using a new synthetic turf, allowing the field to be
used for more purposes and for a longer season.

The parking lot would be patched and resealed.
