Student Works Advance to State Level in Reflections Program

The Mohawk Valley Region PTA has announced that entries by the following Johnstown students will advance to judging at the state level in the 2009-2010 National PTA Reflections Program and will also be displayed at the NYS PTA Convention in Rochester during November 2010:

Dance Choreography: Monica DiScioscia from Glebe Street Elementary.

Photography: Thea Dingman, Patrick Sprouse and Peter Van Denburgh from Pleasant Avenue Elementary.

Literature: Salena Bleyl and Sophia Frenyea from Glebe Street Elementary.

Visual Arts: Bradey Brownell, Cheyenne Kearns, Lindsay Salamack and Michael Simone from Glebe Street Elementary; Miranda Ernst, Addison Nellis and Hannah Pitcavage from Pleasant Avenue Elementary.

National PTA Reflections Program
Reflections is a cultural arts program that encourages students to express thoughts and feelings through creative arts in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography and visual arts.
