2012 Elementary
Phys Ed Foul Shooting Contest |
On Saturday, March 24, Johnstown's elementary physical
education department held its annual foul shooting contest
for students in grades 3 - 6 at Warren Street Elementary
School. In order to compete at this district contest, the
students first participated in and won foul shooting
contests as part of a basketball unit in the PE classes at
our three elementary schools.
Physical education teachers Robert Kraemer, Melissa
Blanchard and Cynthia Cromer ran the event with the help
of Johnstown varsity basketball coaches Scott Hale and Tim
Derwin, together with the following Lady Bills & Sir Bills
varsity players: Ellen Praught, Kelsi Barnholt, Alexis
Swatt, Skylar Swatt, Jon Heroth, Ricky Mitchell, Jerry
Groom, Kyle Decker, Cody Naish, Nate Sweetman and Mitch
Vdoviak.
Congratulations to this years winners: Arianna Vuskalns,
Logan Wall, Jacob Stewart, Madison Etherton, Matthew
Boyle, Tara Kilmartin and Christian Solar.
