Constitutional Game Plan

Constitutional Game Plan

Just prior to the February break, seventh grade students at Knox Junior High School completed a unit on the U.S. Constitution.  To conclude the unit, the students were tasked with a project in which they were each asked to create a game to teach the Constitution to their fellow classmates.  They then spent a school day playing, evaluating and enjoying each other’s games. Their response was overwhelmingly enthusiastic!

The Great RePlay at Knox

The Great RePlay at Knox

AHA The Great Replay Logo American Heart Association Logo

Knox Junior High School has signed up to participate in a new, cool event, The Great RePlay. The Great Replay is a fundraising event sponsored by the American Heart Association that targets middle school students. The Great Replay will take place in physical education class February 27 – March 3 and consists of a week of “throwback” games from elementary PE – scooters, tag games, parachutes, relays! Students are having fun getting healthy and asking friends and family for donations to save lives.

After Thursday, the entire student body will have been introduced to The Great Replay. Students have the choice to register online to collect donations (by emailing friends/family) or the old fashion way (cash/check). Students will be collecting donations until Friday, March 3.

Knox has set a fundraising goal of $500 for its first year of participation in the event. That’s where we need your help! The money raised is for the American Heart Association. We want to help kids born with special hearts and keep kids active. It’s super easy and safe to make a donation to the fundraising page, by clicking on this link! Please think about making a donation and together we can be Heart Heroes!
