Duke Coach Leads Field Hockey Clinic

Duke Coach Leads Field Hockey Clinic

A field hockey clinic for students in grades 4-8 and 9-12 took place on Knox Field August 3 & 4, led by Jarred Martin, associate head coach for Duke University.

A native of Saratoga Springs, Coach Martin has been a member of the Duke field hockey staff since 2007. He has also served as the U.S. Women’s Under-17 assistant coach for the past two years, and was previously an assistant coach at Skidmore College. He played 12 years with the U.S. Men’s National Field Hockey squad, retiring as the starting center forward in 2012. During that time he competed in three Pan American Games, two Olympic Qualifiers and two World Cup Qualifiers, traveling to 25 countries and four continents to represent the United States.

The clinic was an amazing opportunity for our student-athletes and we thank Coach Martin for his time!
